How to synchronize your pharmaceutical products
Once the LGO gateway is in place, the prices and stocks of each drug or parapharmacy product are automatically updated thanks to a two-step synchronization process:
- The pharmacy management software sends the product catalog with item name, stock, price and VAT amount.
- Each product is then sent to the site.
Synchronization (updating existing products and adding new ones) generally takes place overnight. The difference between sending the catalog and sending the products to the customer's site is only 5 minutes.
➤ Good to know: Some software packages feed internet orders directly into the LGO (e.g. Whinpharma / LGPI-Pharmagest). A time-saver for the pharmacist!
Installation of the walkway
In order for our teams to set up an LGO gateway on your pharmacy site, you, as the pharmacy owner, must sign a new contract (or option) with your dispensary software.
Once the signature has been validated, the pharmacy software contacts our experts to inform them of your wish to integrate a gateway.
As a general rule, the dispensary software provides Itekpharma developers with a login and password so that they can connect to the pharmacy management console via an XML file.
However, the procedure may vary from one pharmacy software to another. Our technical team, thanks to its skills and know-how, can adapt to successfully complete the gateway installation procedure.
